Tapper roller has a tapper design (inner and outer races) which is used in heavy load applications. Especially in the automotive sector. It has four components the inner ring, the outer cup, the rollers, and the cage which retains the rollers. Further, it is also used in back-to-back pairs. So, that axial forces can be supported equally in either direction.
